Nearly 130 different research and educational institutions in 42 countries broadcasted live and simultaneously the Fourth Virtual Conference on Genomics and Bioinformatics. Each of these intitutions participate either using Access Grid technology or the unicast video streaming venue.

The Access Grid™ is an ensemble of resources including multimedia large-format displays, presentation and interactive environments that allows participants of the the Virtual Conference to interact effciently across different locations. After verying that the service is provided in your institution please ask the node operator to fill this form.

If your instituion is not in the list of access grid nodes you can organize the Virtual Conference using the LIVE VIDEO STREAMING format. This allow members of your institution to attend the Virtual Conference in real time and interact with the audience using a web-forum. The link for the video streaming is distribuited to institutions and NOT to individuals. We have a limited number of streaming licenses. For this broadcasting format format it is necesary a digital projector, a computer with speakers and real player software.
